As a specialist in high-net-worth donor cultivation and major fundraising, Alayah brings deep fluency in how private wealth moves toward culture and how to make that movement meaningful. At the Museum of Modern Art, she served in senior leadership over the Black Arts Council, where she drove historic fundraising milestones including the community's first $10 million endowment and its first million-dollar fundraiser in over three decades. Her career in arts equity began at the Equal Justice Initiative, supporting the founding of the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, and has since spanned the Donors of Color Network, the Center for Economic Empowerment and Opportunity, and Project Liberty.
