In 2019, she was named among Vanity Fair’s “30 Under 30” recognizing individuals shaping the future of France. Her major series 25h01 (2021) and Octobre 61 (2025) draw from family archives to examine exile, resilience, and the circulation of memory across generations. In 2025, her work was exhibited at and acquired by The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York as part of Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. Yoshio joined the project before building completion and drove its experential success and connections to craft and local artisans.
